On 14th January representatives of the AACP (Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists) joined a session of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Primary Headache Disorders at Westminster. The aim was to highlight the important role acupuncture in physiotherapy can play in the treatment of headaches in the UK.
The main aim of the session was to gain information on what an ideal model of healthcare for primary headache disorder patients could look like and how it could be organised most efficiently and effectively.
Representatives of many healthcare sectors and MPs were present at Westminster, so it was very important the AACP was heard and represented its members.
The All Parliamentary Group will report back to MPs in the spring.*
We look forward to receiving further news on this subject.
