Mizan (pronounced like Milan) Therapy is an Arabic word that means balance. By using traditional healing techniques, Mizan Therapists seek to restore balance when life feels unbalanced – physically, emotionally or spiritually. Mizan Therapy can be a great way to help digestion and digestive problems.
Mizan Therapy is a gentle, non- invasive effective way of massaging the abdomen, mid & lower back and legs, that helps to improve the flow of circulatory fluids of the blood, lymph and nervous systems to strengthen and nourish the muscles, ligaments and fascia (connective tissue) that hold the internal organs in their optimum positions.
The techniques are commonly used in (but not exclusive to) South American, Indian and Eastern societies. Mizan used a combination of many of these traditional healing methods.

Digestive Treatment Plan:
It is recommended that you have at least 3 treatments, although your body would greatly benefit from just one treatment if you prefer to book a one off.
Treatments would be as follows:
Treatments may take place any time during the month, whenever it is convenient to you.
- First treatment with full consultation (approx 2.5 hours).
This will include aftercare advice sheets, teaching of self care massage and self healing methods.
- Follow up sessions:
Ideally, the second treatments takes place 2 weeks after the first and then subsequent treatments are one per month.
